How an ideal human being should be?

First thing first, does the concept of an ‘Ideal Human being’ exists in our world? Indeed, even I don’t know. But the thing is, I think, probably every human being in this world, more often than not, wants to be an ideal human being (or sometimes they may understand themselves as the ideal human being). But the question arises what do we mean by an ideal human being? Or what are the traits of an ideal human. As far as I am concerned, an ideal human being is one who is intelligent, attractive, physically fit, socially contributing, environmentally conscious, is an eloquent speaker, has respect for others and have discipline in their life etc.

You may be thinking, are these characteristics even possible in a single human being? Or are these the only factors which define an ideal human being? I guess not. But, I think, more or less, these are the factors which should define an ideal human being. It is a very well-known fact that all of the above-mentioned factors are not in our control but most of them are.

Now the question arises: is it possible for all human being to be ideal? The answer is actually even I don’t know. However, we can endeavour to be an ideal human being (It is interesting to think how our world will look like when we all will become an ideal human being). I would like to throw a few cents of mine on how to become an ideal human being on the basis of my limited experience. Hereby I am listing the characteristics and the probable sources to attain them:

Human being model

1.  Intelligence:  Learning forms academic and non-academic experiences.

In simple terms intelligence means the ability to comprehend; to understand and profit from experience. This characteristic is one of the vital aspects of an ideal human being. Intelligence helps us differentiate between what is right and wrong based on our learning and experiences. It can be achieved through academic and non-academics experiences per se (Indeed there are many other ways but these are more or less the important ones).

2.Attractiveness: Learning from actors (or so called superstars) about cleanliness and personal hygiene.

It is said that prima facie your look defines your personality. Many types of research’s suggest that being physically attractive benefits a person in getting a job, chances of being heard by people etc. So, being physically attractive is according to me is also one of the characteristics of an ideal human being. Getting physically attractive can be mainly learnt from actors. Actors do care a lot about their physical attractiveness (it is very difficult to become a good actor if you are not physically attractive)

3.Physical fitness: Learning from sports person regarding physical fitness.

It is a well-known proverb that ‘health is wealth’. It’s indubitable that physical fitness leads to good health. And if you possess a good health it leads to accruement of wealth. We hear very rarely that an athlete falls ill. So, the importance of being physically fit can be learnt from the athletes. They spent a good amount of time in doing different exercises which help them to remain physically fit.

4. Social contributions: Learning form social activists and philanthropists.

I think it is very true that there is no religion other than service to humanity. Being socially conscious, and directly or indirectly contributing to the society is an important part of our social structure. Somehow in some way we are responsible for happenings around us and, therefore, we should take responsibility and contribute to the society in a positive manner. This selfless work of doing something about the society can be learnt from the social activists all around the globe. It is not necessary for everybody to devote all their time in this but definitely we can contribute some part of our time in social activities in one way or the other.

      5. Environmentally conscious: learning from the environmentalists.

Protecting our environment for the future generations is our responsibility as well as duty. Nature has shown us many times the consequences of disturbing the natural environment. Hence, we should plant saplings, reduce energy consumption, sustainably achieve our goals etc. This aspect can be very clearly learnt from environmentalists. It’s not only the job of any specific group of people but also of  all the peoples around the globe.

6. Eloquent speaker: Learning from the politicians that how articulately we can present our ideas.

Just possessing information and ideas are not sufficient. One should build capability to articulately convey their messages to the concerned audiences. So, communication should not be a barrier between you and other people. We see how politicians dextrously do this job. Hence we should learn this skill from politicians.

     7.  Respect and discipline: Learning from military and other defence forces.

Respect for others and self-discipline are two very important aspect of an ideal human being.  Everything gets wasted if you don’t have respect for others and self-discipline in you .They stress very much on these two aspects which help them in running their organizations effectively. These aspects of life can be learnt from the defence forces.

By and large, these are the major factors which I think may transform a normal human being into an ideal human being. It is not necessary to possess all the characteristics completely, but, possessing a few of them partly will also work. I don’t know whether it is possible for any human being to be ideal or not. But, I can say one thing for sure, if we become like an  ideal human being the world will be a much better place to live. What do you think?
