The best time to have oatmeal would be for breakfast. Develop a habit of having plain-cut or steel-rolled oats, cooked in little water or milk and topped with some ingredients.

The X-factor in oats is their ability to destroy bad cholesterol and convert it into soluble fiber called beta glucan.

Moreover eating oats also lead to 7% drop in LDL Cholesterol. 

Another important benefit that leads to weight loss is the fact that oatmeal provides the body with essential fiber which helps the stomach feel full and reduces carving as well as constipation. It also reduces blood-sugar levels.

Hence oatmeal has many benefits, moreover they are easy to cook. One can cook oatmeal on a stove top, in a microwave pr even in a slow cooker.
