A guide for the correct muscle food

Many of us believe that muscles and body-building begins only when we start hitting the gym. That's a very common misconception. Muscle building begins with following the right diet as well as drinking plenty of fluids with lifting weights.
The body-building pyramid

Some of the essential food items which should be there in your diet are listed as follows:

1st. Fruits and Vegetables are very essential for the body as they provide us with the essential fibers, proteins, minerals as well as fluids too.

2nd. Low Fat Dairy Products such as low-fat chocolate milk as well as curd provide high-quality protein, carbs and essential vitamins such as Vitamin D. Moreover we also get protein and calcium from such dairy products.

3rd. Lean Meat is considered by many doctors as a trigger for muscle-building. It contains protein, iron to transport oxygen to the muscles as well as amino acids like leucine.

4th. Dark Meat Chicken provides three times more zinc and 25% more iron as compared to white meat. Hence it is also essential in order to have a healthy immune system.

5th. Eggs are, as we all know, a very good source of protein. But then half the protein is in the yolk, so there is no sense in throwing out the yolk. Eggs also contain essential amino acids too.

6th. Nuts which can be salted as well as raw too, are a very fine source of anti-oxidants. They also contain protein, vitamins, calcium as well as healthy fats.

The most essential thing is your timing. One has to prepare a chart and strictly follow it. You need carbs and protein before the workout as it helps in muscle repair and provides strength. Probably the best plan is to provide the body with essential nutrients along with small amount of healthy fats all throughout the day.

Stay healthy, stay blessed.
