Prima facie, Apple iPhone 6s and 6s plus both look the same, but, just get one thing and that is if you are buying an iPhone buy the bigger iPhone 6s plus. I say it because generally phones with bigger screen dominate the market, also, Games, reading on Kindle, Browsing, Texting everything is much better in the plus size, also, you get a better camera and battery life to boot.
Noticeable changes in 6s plus are:

3D touch (with 96 sensors under the screen): The 3D Touch is useful but works for only Apple apps, not for any third party apps. 3D touch is easy to use but will take a while to get used to doing things like speed dial, adding a new note, sending a message, composing new email etc. directly from home screen. The one thing that is really useful is the ability to 3D touch and change the keyboard to a cursor pad. It is absolutely a delight in correcting, seeking, copying and pasting. Peek & pop feature of 3D touch is unique and useful. You can use the swipe left to delete feature for junk mail. Since it only supports a few stock apps, so, it has a long way to go before it becomes a part of the iOS experience.

2. Live photo: It gives a combination of photo plus video.

3. Camera: Older version had 1.2 Megapixel fronts and 8 Megapixel rear cameras, and 6s plus has 5 Megapixel front and 12 Megapixel rear cameras(with autofocus). Also, 4k video recording is possible.

4. Weight: Apple iPhone 6s and 6s plus are bit heavier than its previous models. The old model was 7.1 mm thick and of 142 gm Whereas this model is 7.3 mm I thickness and of 192 gm.

5. Battery life: Even if you are a heavy Apple Music user (30-45mins), 4G LTE usage (at least an hour) - some gaming, lots of kindles, emailing and browsing and the battery lasts about 80% of the day so this is very good.( Even when you don't do all the tricks for saving battery life like turning off location, background app refresh, perspective effects etc).

The A9 chip is a stellar beast. Single-core CPU and GPU performance are the best compared to the competition. I find the audio quality to be a bit low compared to the iPhone 6 Plus but it's not a deal breaker. My advice- don’t use cellular data much and stick to wifi because iOS apps are very large compared to their android counterparts.
All in all the best iPhone ever !!!! Get it if you can afford it and that too the minimum 64 GB one.
